Pre Ordering Physical CE Copy UK

Hey
Anyone seen where you can pre order physical copies of the CE in the UK yet?
SE only offering digital download and I want the goodies.

I have American friends who have ordered physical CE on both PS3 and PC and yet we don't have the option to do either. Amazon and GAME currently aren't listing them either. In fact you can't preorder and PS3 copies atm through the provided links.

Where have your American friends been able to order the physical CE for PC?

This is under much discussion elsewhere.

Afaik via the SE links. When I look on the NA site myself it has this on the top of the page.

So just click on the right option for a physical version. Unless I am missing something

Sorry, I misunderstood. What's under discussion is whether we'll be able to order the physical NA CE from retailers like Amazon or Gamestop (rather than the SE Online Store).

UK/EU don't get that option in the SE store.

I can't find a physical copy on their store either. I've been waiting so long to get my hands on this too! I'm going for the Playstation 3 version.

That said, no one can seem to find any of these in the UK atm from what I have read. Here's hoping the Pre-prder bonus packs are still around by the time they get around to listing them :( I need to be a cat, on a cat, followed by a cat :D

ShopTo.net has preorders up for the physical copies.

It'd be good if they could confirm preorder bonuses though!

If the pre order bonus pack isn't around then, then that's just poor and unfair of SE. But I'm sure it will be available.

Looks legit. Never heard of this store before.

I've used ShopTo for years and they've never let me down. I've even bought consoles from them before :) they offer good prices and shipping is usually free unless you opt for recorded/next day. I've always got games before retail release too!

Glad they don't charge until it is dispatched. So will keep my eye out for my regular websites as I need 2 copies since ShopTo limit pre orders to 1.

Did you get confirmation of the "FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Pre-Order Bonus Package" when you ordered? Just curious as the SE store lists it like that as a separate item from the game.

I know this doesn't quite fit the subject (i.e. UK).

OK so just signed up and pre-ordered the PS3 CE from this site.

On the account page is an option to activate code. In addition on my confirmation email is the following text:
This Preorder has DLC associated with it:
FINAL FANTASY XIV EARLY ACCESS CODE - VISIT > PREORDER.EU.FINALFANTASYXIV.COM
Please check the Preorders page on your account for your activation code.

If you check the site listed it is not only early access but also the mog cap and cait sith minion. Hope this helps some of you as I still haven't seen listings anywhere else. Do note though once you activate the code you cannot cancel the pre-order.

Early access, Moogle Cap, Cait Sith Minion? If so I'm going to activate it just incase they run out of codes.

I'm also looking for the CE box in Europe. Only found the French version at square enix boutique, which is limited to France. Heck I'm gonna bite the bullet and buy it there and have a friend bring it over :/ Still, it would be awesome if amazon.co.uk gets to sell it.

For EU (i have never ordered from these retailers personally so i don't know how good they are)

I hope amazon or the SE store updates soon enough.

I'm sure SE want Euros and Aus dollars too flowing into their income, not just Yens and US dollars.

SE, get your stuff together, if you want to earn money, make sure you treat all markets equally.

I'm still mad that you never released Xenogears or Chrono Trigger and Cross (and more games) in EU when they got originally released in Japan and the US.

We've been left out several times and we put up with that, so please, stop this already, we shouldn't look for alternate ways to get your products.
Maybe some day our patience will finally snap and you may lose a whole market instead of gaining and growing in it.

Yup it is! You place your pre-order and then you go onto your account and activate the code. It'll then be saved to your account and you can register your email on the official ARR pre-order website. They'll let you know when the site is fully active, and when it is you input the code and unlock the early access, Moogle Cap and Cait Sith Minion! :)

pre-ordered mine from shopto. got the code. Seems legit.

Just courious about why the S-E pre-order code registration site is not yet ready to accept codes . . .

I expect the site will be up a week or so before the actual release so you can download the client and play early. The pre-order page is certainly official so I don't think there's anything to worry about! :D

They'll probably send an email to you separately, or it'll be account bound like ShopTo. Might be a good idea to email them to check. They really should make it more clear though.

Emailed them and got an email back within 3mins. Happy about that but this was the reply:
"I have looked into this for you and unfortunately, there is a limit of 1 per customer for this item. I apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Guess I have to wait for another website to pop it on that includes the pre order bonus package in the description. /sadface

or you make a new account ? and order it under a different name like you girlfriend or father , if your realy paranoid you get it delivered to a different address , they wont know your the same person :p

Anyone else preordering from third party stores that hasn't got their preorder code yet?

I preordered the PS3 CE, got the preorder confirmation from the retailer, but haven't gotten my preorder code. Maybe Square haven't sent them to all stores?

I pre-ordered my physical PC CE from bol.com (apparently the Benelux edition comes with a steelbook and a slightly different cover, instead of the themed security token, which is a nice surprise), and on their site they specifically state that the early access codes will be sent out a week before the game is released, and the pre-order item codes will be sent on the release day.

Maybe more stores are doing the same, to prevent people from using the codes and then cancelling their pre-order?

Any news on other websites?
I may have to create another account on Shopto just to buy a 2nd copy for my brother. But he doesn't have a way of paying since I pay for his subs too. Hopefully I can use the same card on a different account.

I have pre-ordered from Shopto. I have my early access code. I use Shopto all the time, you can count on them.

I have sent an e-mail to their customer support, asking about the preorder codes, I'm hoping to get an answer on monday. Id they won't deliver them, I'll cancel my preorder and wait for any other place that will deliver them to purchase the game there.

Same happened to me. I just added my card details a second time without logging out and it went through fine. I guess it's a site/browser glitch.

I had no problem with pre ordering 2 CE for the PC. Strange PS3 has issues.
