Can't finish quest 'In a Titan Spot' for Titan HM

The quest progressed normally up until the objective 'Attune to the aetherite in U'Ghamaro mines.' I can interact with the aetherite and a message will pop up saying 'Quest Complete' and 'Duty Finder Updated', however the quest remains in my log and the duty finder will not update. Likewise, I do not get the reward either. I have seen other players progress through this part of the quest as usual so I imagine it is an isolated incident. I have tried to change classes and relog/exit game, although this resolves nothing. Now I cannot progress with the story/end game.
