About the EU servers.

From what i've both heard and read is that the EU servers (like the server Lich where im currently at) are located in Canada.

If this is true, then i have a question: Will there be any servers actually located in the Europe area or will they still be located in Canada?

Me and my friends here in Sweden that currently are playing this game have a 1-1.5 sec delay to everything we do, and lately it has gotten worse making it barely playable. An example of this is the Naval (Titan), where you have to time the AoE... otherwise you Die. My guess is that is has to do with the location of the servers.

would be nice to hear any responds to this.

There are also various issues with ISPs, routing, P2P throttling, and this kind of stuff I don't really understand.
What I know is that some people cannot get a ping low enough to play without using a VPN, which is a shame...

Judging from how their infrastructure is set up - no actual european servers in the first place.

Which actually begs a thought - why the hell is there even a EU/NA separation in the first place? Language division would make a tiny little bit more sense in this scenario. Japanese way of judging gaijins... French... English...? Isn't that all in Canada?
