How to take screenshot with no UI?

How to take screenshot with no UI on PC? Googled it only found answer for PS3,

Press Scroll Lock and it removes the UI.

And the Home key gives you a full screen, with no figure of your character. Have fun.

You can also open your keybind settings (system section of keybinds, i think) via the main menu (esc) and rebind it to another key if needed. Some newer keyboards, mostly laptops I think (like mine), don't have scroll lock.

What button is to take a screenshot if there is a default it should still be i cant find it in controls

I actually have no idea what the screenshot button is because I think I rebound it. I'm sure someone here probably knows, but if you don't want to wait around for an answer you can find out what it is though by checking your system section keybinds, it should be in there.

Ill have to double check maybe i scrolled past it to fast and didnt see

Print Screen. It will give a click as you get the shot, it wont work in Cut scenes and there is a cool down to keep people from spamming and locking up the server.

HOT KEYS FOR Screen Shots:PC Default:

SCROLL LOCK - clears the UI
HOME - Gives First Person View with no character
PRINT SCREEN - Takes Screenshot which will be located in My Documents/Square Enix/Final Fantasy XIV/Screenshots

they are full screen and a nice large format.

You should have a scroll lock button even on a laptop, but it should be activated via the Fn key. As Laptop's by definition shouldn't sit on your lap because they get warm and can causing burning without you realising it as it's not *hot*, err, digressed, as laptops have smaller keyboards they should share keys so you may find your Scroll Lock is activated with Fn/Numlock - but that may vary and I'm too lazy to go check my laptop.
