Ifrit bow
seems to be just slightly inferior or on par to Serpent Lieutenant's bow IF YOU HAVE a 4 set like me from jewelries and bracer
Ifrit bow
Physical Damage 35 Auto Attack Damage: 40 Delay: 3.44
18 Dex Vit 19
10 Accuracy Fire Resist 10
Determination 18
SL Bow
Physical Damage 34 Auto Attack Damage: 29 Delay: 2.64
Dex 15 Vit 17
Crit hit Rate 25
4set bonus 18 Determination
Yes I know some of those pieces are quite low lvl but the set bonus they give is pretty good. Maybe this isn't the case when you find way better Jewelries. I, for one, am not having an easy time replacing those pieces. This also brings the Officer's armour set to my attention which again seems like it has more stats when brought in as a set(some are sanction) compared to the starting AF gear which you get from a lvl 45 quest and the final piece at lvl 50.
What do you guys think?

I believe all the darklight jewelry pieces (aside from neck) have crit on them, which is our superior stat.
So you should replace lower tier stuff with it asap (maybe save up till you can replace 2 pieces at once, so losing 18 determination isn't so bad).
The darklight armor is annoying...high stats BUT not as good as toxotes armor for crit (which every piece has crit, aside from chest...).
The first piece of darklight armor i would get is the helm, its just strickly superior to Toxotes.
To be frank...our best gear is going to be high tier crafted armor, with materia slots for 3-4 savage aim materia, to capitalize on how ridiculously good River of Blood is.
Sadly, you will need boatloads of money to do this.
...I've ranted a bit...but you're right. The ifrit bow (and frankly, our artifact bow, if it didn't have SO much damage) isn't a huge upgrade over the serpent bow's ridiculous 23 crit.
Why can't they make more bows with crit =(
