Behemoth

My own thread on this because of the damn post limit

Doing behemoth on Durandal, and there are just way too many people to even see behemoth. Prioritize your party and the monsters for view, or remove these fates. I cant target my party members to heal or raise them, people who need raise aren't visible, behemoth isn't visible or targetable but can sure as hell hit you, its a mess. And to make it all worse, he keeps running all over the place, so when you do manage to find the behemoth data somewhere in the fate field, it wonders off and disappears again. This is worse than nexus in Tera! At the end of it, terrible lowest possible medal, and no horn. It was a waste of time trying to do this fate. Until something is done about it, not bothering. And I hear Odin is the same way, also to be avoided.

Also, I 90000'd shortly after starting fishing after that fate.

I've never been in a map when Behemoth spawned but sounds like it's a very annoying fate. No more behemoth hides either. Makes the leatherworker in me cry.

I did behemoth today on Excalibur and the same results. SE you need to do something about this!

Just did it now on Ragnarok server. Same thing. Couldn't find him but once in a blue moon then he'd move away and vanish. The fact doesn't help that there are 300 other players with pets minions mounts and companions all just running around taking screenshots and what not instead of fighting. And the people who were dead all had the R0 disconnection icon. I love the idea concept of making him a FATE and being able to participate freely but when you have an iconic mob like this you'd have to expect that the whole server is gonna show up in that area. Finally glad to have seen him pop on our server tho.

Speaking of behemoth... is there a set time when he spawns or is it entirely random?

Lag during fate is the most ridiculous Ive ever seen, it wasn't this bad on ffxi 56k connection when 300+ people would camp an NM. Chance are if you happen to be at the right place when it spawn. Its will die before it loads on your screen. Or you will die without knowing what hit you. Its more common to run to a fate that literally just popped only to see fate ended pop up and a hoard of chocobo's sliding away from the seen. As if they some how killed it before it actually appeared. Makes the game unplayable in popular FATE areas like coerthas Even when your not there for the fate. Try disabling everyones effects and its actually worst. With effects on you can at least get an idea of where the target is from all the sparkly flashy weapon skills and spells. Without affect you just see stiff bodies sliding around.

It's worse on ps3. More than 30+ people and suddenly you find yourself in a Terrain with nothing but just your char (no npc, no mobs, no other players). Worse are the fates where you need to turn something in to npc. You have items, you see the countdown yet there's nothing but just terrain. Then you see message saying 'Fate completed' and you didn't get credit because you didn't turn them in. You spent the whole fate trying to find the npc. Fun part is, you know where the fate is so you keep spamming your AoE (as blm) and you see that you are hitting mobs, you just don't see the actual mob. Then if you are not lucky, you died.

Yep same here. Fought him today on Midgardsormr, only showed up on my screen like 3 times for like 15 seconds.

Kind of dumb FATE too considering it's king behemoth, thought it would be different than the other FATEs where its just spamming him down, but it's the same.

This should probably be created in Fate Feedback or in-game bugs... I doubt they will see it in Game Play. Its not on the known issues list. or currently reviewing.

he supposedly spawns once a day/every 24 hours

its always in the same place though.
