FFXIV Soundtrack - Soundtrack of the Year quality?

I have been geeking out extremely hard over the soundtrack to this game since I first started playing the beta. Virtually all of the music is so well done that I'm afraid they've used up all the creative energy for patch and expansion releases (but I know better, of course). The variety of songs, how they switch between genres, and the way they mesh with the zones and sequences they play in really cements some of the game's feel.

I've linked a couple of songs people may not have heard yet. The first two, I think, really pull in that Magitek feel, combining fantasy and sci-fi styles, and the third is beautifully atmospheric. Give them a listen. Are they Soundtrack of the Year quality to you? I think the soundtrack more than rivals some of the best movie soundtracks that have been produced recently.

Not as good as XIII-2 soundtracks.

ffxiv has an awesome soundtrack. I mean, it was good in 1.0, but ARR's tracks just push it over the top.

Yeah, it's fantastic, but I hope they don't do another blu-ray only release. I'm a sad set in his ways old man. I want CDs.

Crazy Chocobo ruined that whole soundtrack for me. The story and gameplay being terrible ruined the whole game for me.
