So I am only a 21 Botanist at the moment and I decided to try some gathering leves. I really like to get the max bonus possible for completion and I can pop my 50% gathering rate for 250 CP to boost my chances but if I want the bonus I have to sit there and wait for a long time so I don't burn up the gathering spots. Is there an efficient way to clear the leve in a timely manner and get a decent bonus?
I've found that as long as you get a couple trees' worth of the higher item that its usually enough points to get the big reward if you switch to the low one. I tend to do rank 3 on the first two trees, then rank 2 on every other tree after that as my GP refills.
I found when hitting a round lvl value ie 20-25-30 go to the leve provider and grind to open next tier of materials in the gathering log. Go grind some normal nodes and basic leve until level 22 , now do a gear check try to get as much Hq gear as possible
Getting Unsocketed HQ Gear for your level has given me top reward each time i havent missed one in around 30 leve's
most of the leves around that level which need say a 320 score or higher ect will give max bonus if you achieve 100% collection of the lower tier item
