Hey guys, sorry if this kind of thread has been posted already. I was just wondering if anyone could explain a bit to me the benefits of doing fates in a party? I see a lot of people recruiting for them. So far I've just been soloing them, but I'm wondering if I would get more exp, more gil, more seals in a party? Or is there some other underlying benefit?

Easier contribution towards the FATE in a party. At high levels, there will be huge zergs of people in zones like Coerthas and without a party it may be difficult to get contribution in many of those FATEs because they usually end within a minute and mobs just last a second. You also have a higher chance to get XP per kill.
I'm not sure if there are specific benefits for partying up rewardswise, but I think it's more for sake of support and heals.
It's easier to tell if someone needs help when you can instantly see their hp instead of randomly seeing it in the fray for huge FATES.
I've went in with groups and because everything dies so quickly, I only managed to hit an enemy once.
However, because my group was able to do a lot of killing... I still got 12,000 exp for that one hit.
Not only this, but they can claim enemies for the team which means you get the exp for those mobs regardless of who kills them.
Teleporting (The good Fate parties will have people that will teleport you across the map when Fates spawn far away, so you can get to more fates without missing ones that normally you'd miss because of the travel distance).
Better chain exp/gold because of the other people in your group.
Also a good group will also alert players with a sound (Which you can do in party chat) when a Fate pops, so if you are doing something else (or have alt tabbed out of the game, but make sure to play sound when alt tabbed) you will get alerted and can get back into to the game and get to the fate without having to just stand around waiting for ht enext one to pop.
