Tried to Refund, Got Double Billed Instead
I attempted to refund a digital copy of the game I bought of off Square Enix's own online store, and was billed a second time for the game instead.
The invoice on the findmyorder site says it was successful in returning the game, but they've only billed me a second time for it instead of refunding anything.
I am unable to contact Square through Live Chat or email, and the only phone number I've found to contact them with not only was ridiculously hard to find, but also doesn't ever put me through.
I'm actually being told by my bank that my only course of action right now is to actually file a police report for fraud/forgery against Square, but I would much rather have this handled like any other online purchase I've ever made and just have these charges refunded.
What exactly am I supposed to do here? The level of incompetence Square currently is operating at is outright baffling and 100% unacceptable.
