On thin ice

While I know most mmos have their issues with launching, I really hope this issue is fixed in the next few days of yet "another plan" of fixing it. I'd like to see this game do decent in terms of competing on the MMO market but I think SE is on the verge of losing a lot of its player base by restricting the number of people who can be online at any given time. A few of those being the friends I play with. Mind you, this will cause a ripple effect. As most people don't want to play if they don't have friends to play with right? Please get your head out of your ass, add new servers, and stop not communicating with your player base. Thank you :)

Actually, they've been communicating very well. They're planning to fix the issues by Wednesday. If you stop by The Lodestone you can read all the different announcements on server statuses and plans to fix things - there's quite a bit there.

Guess you didn't read my whole post, I'm fine with waiting, but lots of people are growing impatient. It will be hard to play this game when a lot of people leave especially friends you play with. Also you are assuming the whole community reads the forums. They don't nor have half of them even know what or where they are.

They've said numerous times over the course of the last week that they're taking the servers down to fix it, but nothing gets fixed. But ok. Read a little before you try to sound smart. lol

Much as I agree that the problem needs to be fixed, and frankly, there's some fixes they could do NOW that they decided to wait until the servers are expanded (capacity increase), but communication is a two way street. They're communicating and its easily accessible. Those who don't see the information at this point are actively choosing to be ignorant, especially when you add in the announcements on the launcher.
