State of Miqo'te tail slots on clothing/armors?

Just looking for any recent information regarding the tail slots that are absent from 1.0 items and many new armors. I vaguely remember something said about them being removed during early Alpha tests, but the release is upon us and adjustments haven't been made yet. Is there a time frame for their plans to address this that I missed? Thanks.

I bet they removed it because not all classes have tails and even as vanity we will want more and more. But i bet when vanity items come out they might make it possible.

I know on quite a few items now like skirts your tail will clip through it constantly now. It looks really poor.

Then again, Jerkins still don't have belts either when belts were supposed to have been merged into the body armor.

Oh, wasn't talking about a gear slot for tails, but rather the cuts on certain armors to allow the tail to sway freely without clipping through the armor. We're also missing tail armor from certain pieces as well. Some pieces retained the tail cut while others did not. I just hope they don't forget about it.

While I'm sure it was more to reduce the number models needed for the armors, for some pieces I can't help but think it was for decency. I mean, look at the miqo'te white mage robe. Remember that the Healer's Culotte's on women are literally panties with barely skirts if you're not wearing covering body armor (or sash-type belt in 1.0). With the split in the back for the tail... While I don't play a miqo'te, the culotte's were the reason I went and had some felt gaskins fitted with mind materia. Pants {Yes, please.}

I don't think it's a limited models thing. Think of how many armors they're going to add over the course of the game, and how many of those are elaborately designed with all sorts of belts and spikes and doodads. As for decency, if they were being that prude they wouldn't have included the swimsuits or lessened the amount of skin covered by smallclothes.
