Unable to accept party/FC invites

So ever since early access started I've been unable to accept invites. It shows up in chat that I've been invited but there's no dialogue box for me to confirm. Today I went to join a FC and the same thing. The FC button in the lower right is greyed out.

Any suggestions?

Do I possibly have something disabled?

Btw, I can start my own party and add others but not join an existing.

Update: I've been told that when others invite me to a party it says I'm already in one when I'm clearly not. The 'Leave' and 'Disband' buttons of the party window are greyed out. But I have not confirmed this.
