I completed the quests to join the Twin Adders Grand Company and when Minfilia spoke to me right after she mentioned that I was now part of the Eternal Flames or something like that. Small speaking error, that will help for those who actually read everything.
I just got this too: "I have no doubt you are eager to make the acquaintance of your new comrades, but I would ask that you pay a visit to your old ones first. Remember: though you are now a Flame of Ul'dah you are no less a Scion! Pray return to the Waking Sands at your earliest convenience. There are some friends here whom I would very much like for you to meet. We shall be waiting!". I believe it should be 'though you are now a Serpent of Gridania'.
I've one better than this. I screenshotted it. My legacy cat, being called a Flame, in the GC HQ of Gridinia... >.<; ... At least I get to use my GC statstick now.
