You can get them (and other items) back from an NPC called the Calamity Salvager (near the Aftercastle in Limsa).
Also if you did not get the Chocobo permit in 1.0 you will not be able to use your mount until you get the Chocobo permit in 2.0.

Am I the only one annoyed that this isn't account-wide?
I re-rolled for ARR despite my legacy character having the Gobbue and Hermes' Shoes (1.0 pre-order item, if I recall). This was partially driven by miscommunication with friends--I went to Excalibur during the free transfers, then they all decided we'd go to Sargartanas instead. Now...I know they're doing paid transfers after a few weeks, but I'd rather not waste ~4 weeks of work on a new character for the sake of getting to ride around on a goober...
Can't we just make this account-wide? The legacy chocobo is, why should this be any different (for those who were able to get it)? Once a character has one, just send it others on the account...
My wifes character doesn't have it also and its not in the calamity storage either..
