Movable Parts?

Was curious if there are still plans to be able to raise the hood on the WHM AF and lower the visor on the WAR AF headpiece? There was post about it a long time ago that it would make its way in the game but I wanted to hear from the devs if its still on track by release (or beta).

None of the videos we have seen so far seems to have hoods or visors in different positions

I jad a completely different image of movable parts in my head when I read the thread name >.>

I do hope they haven't abandoned that idea.

Last I heard Yoshi said it probably won't be in the game due to it being technically difficult to do.

He also said that the different positions in the concept art was meant solely for the benefit of the modelers, and was never intended to reflect in-game functionality.

yes the animation to do those was discussed, think it was about robes or capes and movement issues and was to hard or costly to put it in. though i dont see why you cant have 2 different models of the same piece one with the hood up (cant equip head gear with this one) and one with the hood down and same for helm.

It would be awesome! it doesn't have to animate up or down if it's too difficult. just have the character do the classic XI blink and reappear with the hood up or visor down etc. I want my war visor up until a situation is about to get real serious, then i can put it down and go to work. IT'S FOR MY IMMMMERRRRSIIIOONNSSSS!!
