Hello everyone!
Vilhem recently created a thread noting how Distant Worlds now plays the End of an Era trailer at the concerts. It's pretty amazing to watch with the live version but the syncing during the concert leaves a lot to be desired (understandably). So I've decided to make a version with the song synced to the video. The audio is taken from the "Distant Worlds music from FINAL FANTASY Returning Home" album. I hope you enjoy.

Didn't seem to fit imo during the first part, but from just before the sealing during the praying it was so perfect :) I hope to see it live one day. I'd probably start crying though haha love Answers and the end trailer.
Yeah, I was considering doing some heavy editing to have the parts fit better, most likely by speeding up/slowing down parts of the song so certain musical cues fit with the edits. But the purist in me wanted to leave both the video and audio as "untampered" as possible. In the end, I decided to leave them both unedited and simply played around with when to start/end the song. I think it results in a more realistic depiction of what it's like to watch the trailer during the live concert.
You would have to edit down the music to the 5min version before trying to sync it to the video
Then of course there's the issue of tempo. In the live show I think they took the song a bit slower (they play it faster in the rest of the live shows)
I really want to go to visit their show this year, but when this song starts and she starts to sing I need a tissue.
They also faded out the trailer here and there to allow them to kinda sync up.
