Could we possibly get a music sampler of new ARR tracks inbound? I know ARR's actual release is well away, but the music should be fairly close if not finished entirely at this point. Even if not full tracks, which honestly probably wouldnt be a good idea anyway (and if you really dont want to screw things up, dont include the entire OST with Alpha download, lol)
But still, I'd like to hear the new music, even without actual titles to where they belong. Let us try to figure it out based on the sound.

Pretty sure Soken does not go on the forums, much less the English ones.
Anyway he usually posts up a blog when some new tracks are coming out, I assume he'll do the same with ARR. -

To be honest there's no reason to release ARR sample tracks as ARR is nowhere near release lol. If you noticed, right before something is released he releases a sampler, that's when you'll likely see it.

Really hope they try to create the very natural FF feel in their music. The more modern music in boss fight with Nael is fun but please dont do that to my exploring music lol.
Im not impressed with FFXI gameplay in any aspect but it always had a pretty good idea of combining visuals (animations, graphics style), and music in a way that was memorizing even now (good aesthetics)- when the graphics are now considered "meh" its still awesome to sit in some zones and relax.
Nothing better then sitting in a zone or in the mog house listening to your roaring fire or water fountain. I'm going to continue to mute the music if its anything but lol. (So that god awful* event music for the fire dance better not come into 2.0 - 1 hour of that and I never turned FFXIV sound back on).
*It was exciting for the first few loops, but seriously.. over and over and over its torture. Like the Yutunga jungle in FFXI, worst song ever. -
