Sick of shouting? Here's a solution for sore throats.
"Shouting" for quest help is a total hassle. I find myself competing for chat log space with other player's messages by shouting the same thing repeatedly. :mad:
One solution could be a quest board system similar to the one in CAPCOM's Monster Hunter franchise.:D (pumped for MH3U!? but, back to FF;))
This would allow an individual to view all the current quest's people are doing by simply checking the quest board in town. Further, the one issuing the quest could do something productive while the other players sign up and get ready. The quest issuer should also be able to see the player's information upon applying. Maybe a pop up window could be used so that they can reject/accept or simply communicate by clicking the player's name. You should even be able to post a quest from out in the field (Carrier pigeon duh!) so that players who drop can be replaced quickly.
