Suggestion - Armoire Feature "Dress for Battle"
Hello,
I'm the kind of player who prefers to wear the artifact armor of the jobs I play, and with the recent ability to store artifact armor in the armoire I thought of a hypothetical feature to allow players to wear artifact armor on the jobs they want while saving glamour plates for other outfits. Tentatively I am calling it "dress for battle."
The idea is to add an interaction with the armoire to "dress for battle" for the combat job the player has equipped at the time of interaction. This would automatically glamour the player in the highest-level artifact armor for that job that is stored in the armoire without linking their gearset to a glamour plate. The player would not be able to switch individual items or use dyes; it would simply be a system to wear gearsets stored in the armoire without assigning that set to a glamour plate.
There could be settings to apply this feature over an existing linked glamour plate under certain conditions, such as when entering a duty or FATE, or to "dress for battle" on multiple jobs, or to disable the "dress for battle" feature when a glamour plate is subsequently linked to the player's gearset. It could even be possible to assign other completed gearsets stored in the armoire, such as dungeon armor or seasonal outfits, rather than artifact armor.
I wonder if I'm alone in preferring to wear the beautiful outfits the designers worked to make rather than come up with my own glamours. I also wonder if the "dress for battle" feature is at all feasible, or less costly than simply adding glamour plates. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.
