Expert roulette is boring - Same 2 dungeons for 6 months - lack of variety

I have a request for the Devs, please keep more dungeons in the Expert roulette when it comes to tome farming. I have given up doing the expert and farm tomes elsewhere because doing the same 2 dungeons for up to 6 months is mind numbing.

Please consider merging the Expert and Level Cap roulette into a single roulette for more variety or keeping at lease 3, preferably 4 dungeons in the Expert.

There's 2 dungeons in the expert roulette? I've only gotten Meso Terminal the last oh 20 or so times I've done it. And I hate that middle boss. ><

I have had more than 2 thankfully.

Its not as bad as every other roulette.
Have every AR unlocked? Yeah no you are getting Crystal tower raids.
All normal raids unlocked? You bet your ass you are getting Alexander!
Level 100 with MSQ finished? I hope you like Sastasha.
Trials? Ramuh and Ifrit say Hi!

Even when you queue with a full party at level 100 you only get low level content, the system just refuses to give any content higher than 60 and its driving me to the brink.

There is always 1 dungeon in there that remains in there for 9 months minimum. The final dungeon of the expansion remains in there for over a year.

This never used to happen. We used to get 2 new dungeons in it every 3.5 months. By 3 months, it was beginning to make me a bit sick, and that's when the new patch would release to switch it up.

But now? It's 9 months of the same thing and doing it for that long makes me physically sick. The only way to cope with doing it is to switch jobs or flat out avoid it.

It makes it better if you instead queue for Level Cap roulette, or Mentor Roulette, because there is more variety. This is why, due to the reduction in dungeon development and increase in patch cycle length, many of us have been saying they should merge Level Cap and Expert roulette together.

But nobody will read this or listen or make it better. This post will just go into a void and never be acknowledged by anyone or addressed, even by 12.0, despite what Yoshi-P just said:

I mean ....
- Main Scenario is between the same 3 every day plus they're even worse because there's no skip cutscenes... Why doesn't this category include HW and SB MSQ finales? The Free Trial has access to those, why not include them into the roulette? Wait that's right, because they just can't be bothered O.o
- Alliance Raids gives me one of the three ARR options almost every time, and yes I know this because I had to farm 10,000 aetherpool and I did it with my lv100 for lack of a better option. Sure enough .. ARR almost every time

And in all the other categories you're heavily more likely to see ARR content as well as opposed to anything else, the only one where I seem to get a nice variety is High-level Dungeons and Normal Raids.

Anyway the roulette is what it is, a grindy and mostly boring time-sink to reap the rewards while having the benefit of helping others with content who are doing it for the first time. Overall it's not a bad system IMO, it does what it's intended to, but I can't deny that some days I'm like UUUUUUUGH ....

That's why I stop doing it after a while and get tomes in other ways.

Back in ARR we used to get one brand new dungeon plus two hard mode revisited dungeons each patch. Might have been called High level roulette instead of Expert back then? I can't really remember.
I get they wanted to move resources to other content besides dungeons but it felt a lot better to run the roulette back then compared to now.

Edit: I support merging the Expert and Level cap roulettes to increase variety. I avoid Expert now and it used to be a main source of tomes for me and my friends.

You forgot High Level dungeons being a coin flip between Keeper of the Lake and Snowcloak.

If that's just me then this is my soapbox moment.

I would prefer just getting rid of two roulettes for the current level cap and make one for all current capped dungeons, instead, with more tomes as the reward. Problem solved.

You'd still see the most recent addition the most because of gear, but it would be vastly less monotonous as the expansion went on, so that when we do get that long break between X.5 and the next expansion, it'll be easier to swallow.
