Purchased the $19 starter and it's telling me I have 3 days left

I purchased FF14 through Steam a while back and I've been playing every once in a while. I'm level 22 now and suddenly it's telling me I have 3 days left of playtime. I see that on Steam I get 30 days. But I started back in August 14th. So I'm a bit confused why my time has not run out already.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

There is a free trial that goes all the way up through level 70 and any associated content available up to and at that level (except Ultimates). It is not time-limited but it doesn't let you progress beyond 70 and it has a lot of annoying social restrictions such as being unable to form parties or use certain chats.

Once you get the Starter edition, it removes the social restrictions and pays your first subscription fee. Thereafter, a subscription fee is required to play at all.

However, the Starter edition only begins once you enter the code into the mog station. The code is found in the CD Keys menu. So perhaps you only did that 27 days ago?

Free Login Campaign may have applied to your account, granting up to 4 free days of play, depending on your activity level after purchase.

If you created a character on a world designated New or Preferred, you may have been eligible for 15 free days of subscription applied to your account.

If you started on a "new" world, those also give you 30 days extra for leveling a character to 30 the first time.

A bit late .that is 15 days of free and it is only given first time only if started on preferred or new world
