Crafting with Goldsmith's Turban +1 and not Seeing the +10 on double down

I have been using the Goldsmith's Turban +1 all day today and I am not seeing any increase in my double down odds. The number I get is always half of what the original hq chance was to begin with. Normally that seems right but with this hat I was under the impression it would add 10 to that number. Am I not understanding how this hat works? Is it a random +10 to double down odds? Or are these new hats broken? I'd like to know if this is working as intended or a bug because I am confused as to what to expect.

One possibility, the +10 to double down odds might be a hidden attribute but in that case we cannot ever be certain the hat did give the +10 or not if that was the case. Kinda feeling like why bother making these if they don't work. I just need someone to explain and I will be alright then.

The +10 double down works like the militia bracelets(or w/e the DoH is) its +1 additional percent on the final doubledown.

it's 10% onto whatever your double down rate is.

so if your double down is 1% then you get 10% of that (0.1%) making your double down 1.1%
if your double down is 20% then you get 10% of that (2.0%) making your double down 22%

it doesn't mean you get a flat 10% i.e it wont turn a 1% double down into 11%.

No, that's not how it works. I just gives you +1% to your double down. So the most you can get right now is +2%.
