Thoughts On: Raids "Hardmode", Dungeons "Hardmode"

While I can predict the complainers saying "why should SquareEnix waste resources on OLD CONTENT?", I'm still gonna say lets rework some of the old dungeons AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, the Raids.

Firstly, SquareEnix can reuse old maps and just give them new themes for both dungeons and Raids. Not being a programmer, I'm just assuming its easier to color swap, size change dungeon mobs and skins.

Secondly, giving a "refreshing" take on old content can be fun.

Thirdly, I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce a "Horde MOde" to these dungeons. Based on TIME, instead of running "Wall-to-Wall" 2 or 3 groups of mobs. Imagine removing all minor walls straight to mini-boss, but to "flood" the maps with mobs the longer you take. I would even include that during mini-boss fights.

Fourthly, Imagina the final boss fight, featuring its own horde mode with the mini-bosses joining the final boss (will limited hp/damage) as an "ADD" if your taking too long.

Both last points could be a "dps check/wipe" mechanic?

can't speak to horde mode, but I do miss hard mode dungeons, because I'm am immense sucker for seeing the passage of time in video games. Imagine a holminster switch hard mode that has a completely different vibe to the original for instance!

not too keen on the time limit. but on the bright side that would at least solve some issues of this overly sensitiv community we have... at least inside that content. not sure if i want it to jump to the other side of the scale though

would love more difficult content as long its not savage style with all of these high precision mechanics and whipes after just one death... i grew tired of that kind of mechanic
