Would be nice if FFXIV was set in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

As the title says, I feel if the entirety of FFXIV's setting took place in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command's universe, it'll do the lore wonders! Like a Space Ranger class, Meteion being in ARR but with Amnesia and working with Commander Nebula in the past, Zurg being the consistent villan who appears in most expansions(while being the cause of the 7th Umbral Calamity).

Almost forgot with the Heed being the cause of the Armourtian Final Days by tricking the Ancients into thinking the former were peace-loving missionaries.

Good luck getting Disney to cooperate with something like that!

And even if, by some miracle, they did - the asking price would likely be preposterous.

Whatever the big red guy was named- we need him. Throw him in with the Namazu. They would be best of pals.

Eh, not like Disney does much with the TV series. SE got Kingdom Hearts out of the first deal, one more won't hurt.

Nope, its set in the universe where Buzz Lighyear, Zurg, etc exists. Bascially its set in the Buzz Lightyear TV series.

Moreso of 'Zurg already pissed on the planet once, Star Command doesn't want another upstart space empire to pillage the planet another go.'
