I have a lot of friends that recently got into the game or have returned after being away for a while. There's a lot of things that already have a "sync" feature, like dungeons and FATEs, but I'd love for there to be an option where you can sync down to the level of the lowest person in the party in other content, too!
Overworld sync would be cool, but I'm talking specifically for things like Eureka and Bozja. I want to help FC mates and friends level in there but can't with the current system without leveling a new character (which I don't want to do).
Suggestion: Introduce "Party-Sync" as a Feature

Eureka is long, long overdue a party sync feature, frankly. It's utterly ridiculous that it isn't already a thing for Eureka.

Here it would work better if the party leader could choose a person in the party for the entire party to sync down to, so that a whole group can play with a lower level friend if they want. -

sounds like a decent feature and one that would be very handy to have if a veteran has new friends joining.
the only issue I see, and this is an SE/CBU3 issue not a player issue, is their latest direction towards solo play. they may not see it as much of an enhancement to the game if they are pouring their development funds into solo. which would be a loss I think. -

In my opinion making a new character is the better option for this purpose. I realize depending on your account type that may be a financial hurdle but it removes flight and mount speed and resets maps in addition to just allowing you to relevel.

And then EQII had an even better idea where it had an NPC that could sync you down without needing someone else so you could go finish quests that had greyed out on you because you overleveled them. It was especially good for the Heritage quests and great for getting alternate advancement points.Quote:
