Alternative Suggestion for Lottery Housing

Instanced housing for those of us who don't care about showing off their houses on plots.. I hear the island isn't the same as having a house and Apartments are at the mercy of the building owner
(Yes... I know this aint a breakthrough idea and I aint the only one who voices this opinion)

More often than not I see housing generate animosity towards other players and the lottery system doesnt help
I've seen people quit or come close to it due to the soul crushing housing system

Housing should not be a gacha event where rng controls your fate..

People claim it's supposed to be hard just like the real housing market...
Players are flying around on motorcycles & beds... I doubt realism needs to be in the housing..
In ESO they have instanced housing and found ways to make them unique. There's a christmas one where your house is inside of a snowglobe and if you go outside of it you can see the surrounding shop the globe is sitting on

There will be people who shrug these concerns off as they already either have houses or have the gil to get several, and there will be people like myself who're frustrated that you have to basically live and breathe the market board in order to save up 3+ mill gil for a even a small house

I just want a house so I can rp with my kids who're finally old enough to play this after growing up watching me play MMO's...
It shouldn't be a situation where I have to grind for an entire year to save up to play lottery for a house I have a 1% chance of getting AFTER being lucky enough for there to even be a plot open
Not everyone can be Market Board Shark & from what I've always been told, that's the only way to save up housing money

Buying a house in real life is extremely stressful & putting that kind of stress in a game that people use to escape from real life stress is counter productive imo

idea i had, remove all personal housing from wards, of course refund those affected. consolidate wards and make remaining wards fc only. with the freed up resources, utilize those to make islands a bit like permanent areas like a housing ward and put an upgrade-able housing plot. this would remove any and all fighting there is over personal housing i feel, wont help so much for fc housing but the demand there is likely not as severe as personal.
