"Unable to select Balmung as a destination for Return to Home Data Center" [...]
Hey, so, what's with this? Some friends and I met up on Primal to do Treasure Maps. Popped over, no issue. We do maps and some raids for a few hours, everyone goes their separate ways, I log to move back to Crystal. I get this message, "Unable to select Balmung as a destination for Return to Home Data Center requests at this time". All right, sure. Except, my friend on Coeurl got back fine, and my friend on Zalera got back fine, so what gives? Why is my being on Balmung singled out? And there isn't even an option to return to Crystal via a different World server? I'm just stuck and have been for two hours.
This sucks, Square. You were supposed to have fixed the stability issues. But you didn't consider how to get someone home if they happened to have their character on a high pop, high traffic server.
I've played this game since 2014, and it's always something with Bal. Our servers too full for my friends to roll there to play with me during normal hours, or it's closed down complete. Or login queues after an expac launch take an hour or better. Or visit another world server is then met with an hour wait to get back home. There's no apartments available on Balmung, compounding the existing issues with limited housing. And our hub cities are full of trolls from other servers, and now, other DCs. You've made more money of this game than any other in your history, why is this shit still such a problem?
