Losing of one items

So the reason am posting this is so the developers can do something about this!! But I was removed form my guild a few month back due to inactivity and return about a week before the deadline of item being removed, but not knowing about this deadline I ended up losing said items! So now I need to spend roughly 200 plus USD to receive all the items that I got though years of commitment to the game, things like the poster seasonal foods, not counting exclusive msq or side story housing items that are in able to be rebought from markets seller like bozjan little dog robot or gunhildr knight mec or g warrior statue from the weapons series. Now my issue is the fact that there no permanent way to retrieve these items especially since covid had started not everyone was able to afford or be able to just sit around playing. Even after talking to customer support thier response was that they couldn't help and if I wanted said item I would need to rebuy these said items, so yeah let go spend 200 dollars for apartment that could disappear if another crisis happen again. So all in all am just hoping a developers see this and think of a solution, maybe like oh idk the salvager in major city could have a way to rebuy year around if we participated but exclusive to us with usage!

If you lost items, that's on you. If you lost them due to a bug, glitch or anything on SE's side, then they would (no guarantee) possibly give you them back.

Since the issue isn't on the Devs side, they're not going to do a thing.

One small point though: Apartments don't get deleted or removed, even if you stop playing the game. There is no timer linked to Apartments.

Apartments are not the same as private chambers in a FC house. They are not subject to demolition. You can take a 2 year break and your apartment will still be there when you return to the game. You could buy the items you want, place them in your apartment and not worry about losing them.

I still wouldn't suggest spending real money on housing items, though. If you feel you must have them, keep them stored on a retainer instead of in housing storage when not displayed. That's what I do with the items I've picked up from seasonal events over the years.

As for adding them to the Calamity Salvager, I suspect they won't do that because it's far too easy for players to obtain duplicates to sell to other players. Personally I'd rather see them leave the items on the Seasonal Event vendor available for purchase with the seasonal event currency (there's usually some repeatable quest or FATE that can be done to earn it). I doubt it would ever happen though with it being a source of revenue on Mogstation.
