Lodestone Website Suggestion

First off, I'd like to state that Square's web designers make some breathtaking websites. The Lodestone being one of my favorite. From the textures, to the theme, to the colors...just phenominal.

Being that I myself, am a fulltime/freelance web designer, I am pretty much designing, developing, and examining other websites sometimes 15 hours a day. I work on an award-winning Content Management System designed by our programmer, here at my web firm. Our CMS has many, many scripts built into it and one of my favorite is our blending button rollovers.

Every time I am on the Lodestone, I love to just hover my house over all the buttons on the left side, like the FFXIV button, the Legacy Campaign button, and the Grand Company button. I love the rollovers with the inner glows and bright highlights. Looks like most of the buttons all around the site use rollovers, too. But the one thing that sort of urks me is that they don't fade or blend into the hovered image, but only blink into the hovered image. And it only urks me because it's so easy to accomplish. XD

The desiginers/developers already have the first part down (using one image that includes both the normal button on top and the rolledover image on the bottom). All that simply needs to be implemented is a jQuerey script, that calls a certain CSS class and vuola! You can achieve this:

It'd be awesome for the website's developers to see this and implement it! The script is called Blend 2.2 and compatible with jQuery 1.3+. Just some thoughts to make the website even more interactive!
