Only DX11 has audio for some reason. This is only on Realtek Digital Output. If I change the output to anything else, Audio works.
Win 10 - newest update, 19044.1348.
Was working before the patch.
Sucks because I imagine DX9 is worse graphics, right? : ( And I seem forced to play in DX9..
im in the same boat as you..have to play with dx9 since game launcher is is giving me crackle noise sounds.
If you have an additional sound app like "Alienware Sound Center" like me, turn it off. This has always been an issue for me playing SC2, so now it seems to be for FFXIV as well. Good luck!
