You guys rock!

I'm always blown away by how good this game's localization team is. Quest names like "It's a Piece of Cake to Bake a Poison Cake," "Curious Gorge Goes to the Bazaar," all the jokes, puns, and wordplay, the achievement names. It's all really great and makes me chuckle every time I see them. In addition to the jokes, I for one do enjoy the big language used in a lot of the dialogue. I think it fits the world nicely and gets me to exercise my brain a bit. So many other MMO's these days have characters that use language that completely clashes with the setting they're in, and to not have this in FFXIV is a very good thing.

Amidst all the threads pointing out mistakes and other criticism, I thought I'd let you guys know that I appreciate your guy's work, and you all rock!

The quest puns always tend to make me smile. And while the NPC texts tend to be really wordy, I can appreciate the hard work put into them. MMO translation is probably the most daunting task a localization team has ever handled.
