Version Update Continually Timing Out

Hey Guys,

I finally convinced one of my friends to purchase the game, but he's having a shitton of difficulty updating it. I worked with him to download all the patches manually and the patcher runs. It prepares the update and then will not advance any farther than that. It stops at downloading the version update (never showing a speed or any percentage). Does anyone know of a work around for this? So far, he has only been able to apply the first update thats located in the 2d2 folder. The other updates are not processing.

We've uninstalled all anti-virus software, disabled windows firewall, and turned off everything else security-wise.

Also on belmung i see, another guy i've been helping has had the same probliem Tryed everything & more no luck so far. hope SE can fix it for you

I'm pretty sure that I've narrowed it down to his ISP.
