I have wondered why we don't see a lot of references to FFXIII in FXIV.
I really liked the music and the battles in FXIII.
Since they tend to put older FF game references in each expansion or content, I was thinking that maaaaaybe when we go to Garlemald we'll see mech bosses from FFXIV or some guest appearences in a new raid ^^
I just thought it could be fun, what do you guys think?
P.S. I know FFXIII had mixed reviews on the internet, but I happened to like it a lot ! ^^
Lots of enemies in coil are from xiii
I'd settle for a Shiva bike, Odin horse (not Odin's horse) and/or Brynhildr car as mounts.
We have had:
-Clockwork knights(turn 4 in coils, Alts Lla)
-Behemoth boss(Twinning)
-Flans(Malikah's Well)
-C'ieth(yes C'ieth models with L'cie brands intact on them in Twinning)
-Leech King(it is a remodel of FFXIII leeches, B rank Mor Dhona)
-Dreadnoughts (coils, turn 4)
-3×lightning event that unfortunately is unlikely ever to return as items are on Mog station, also unfortunately all 3 events were before they added the orchestrian so unlikely to get music(unless add specific places but most of FFXIII series is far more technologically advanced than even the Allagan Empire so your looking at Oerba or Yuel's tribe type place rather than Cocoon or Akedemia, though you could have a place like the Vile Peaks but I think a lot more people would probably like Sunleth Waterscape just for a potential remix of that tune).
They add plenty of most FFs enemies in FFXIV currently the least represented are FFIX, IV and X. Which is odd because of how well liked all 3 are even more with IV and X as they were very successful financially IX less so but still a success just poor timing(end of PS1 lifespan)
Replace all summons with X versions. hehe. I like fat chicks, but not fat summons. Am I the only one who thinks XIV has some ugly summons? All the dragons have pot bellies. The Ifrit model is pretty sick tho.
X and XI had some of the best monster models in video game history. XIII was very forced awhile back when I was really into 14. It was FFXIV Lightning Returns part 4 imo.
As someone who loves XIII despite the mixed feelings of it and understand it has flaws, I'd love for at the very least Eden's Promise to have at least Orphan...
Honestly I'd kill for more XIII representation that isn't purely enemy mobs. I'd kill for an alliance raid tbh, that'd give me Lightning's 13-2 armor q.q
