Game crashes around too many players

Whenever I go somewhere in game and there's more than a handful of other players in the same area, the game crashes with a fit of errors.

What I've done to fix it:
I tried windowed and full screen modes (I get no error messages in fullscreen, just closes itself with no error codes given)
Turned off Steam Overlay
Updated graphics driver to the version released on the 18th (yesterday)
Reinstalled the game
Reinstalled Windows
Replaced kernel32.dll
Replaced ntdll.dll

Could you try doing a cleanboot? To perform a clean boot for Windows 8/10: Open the task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC.

I tried this and disabled everything in the start-up tab, and it still crashed as soon as I logged in to Gridania.

To clarify, when you reinstalled the game, did you delete the locally-saved data folder (located My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV)?

Additionally, make sure any unnecessary programs are closed and all overlays are disabled.
