When will the “Ask a question” Live Letter thread start?

You know, the thread where a community representative makes where we all post our questions and hope they get answered with something other than “No” or “Limitations” :P

Anyone have a rough estimate or guess when it’ll be posted?

There's already one, though this time around it's devoted to music/sound effects related questions:

(It's much better to browse the forum through the "New Posts" page than just go through General Discussion. They always post the Q&A threads in their dedicated folder.)

Yeah, it seems so - along with general questions aimed at Soken himself. So I guess you could ask him what his favourite song from another game is or some such but lore and game-play related questions are out this time around.

I guess the whole Ishgard thing really made them angry and they are burned out when it comes to gameplay?

Not so much "not allowed" as there isn't much point to asking him about things that aren't to do with his area of the game.

People tried asking unrelated questions in the last Q&A thread, which was lore-focused, but they got skimmed over or not answered - as they should when there's a limited amount of time to answer more relevant-to-the-guest-speaker questions that we can't ask at other times.

Not every live letter involves taking questions from players. it's just how the topics of this one works that's all. this is not a "punishment" of gamers. there will be other opportunities to ask the devs questions.
