The simplification and removal of single target damage, heal, and mitigation abilities in favor of aoe abilities of the same function shows that Square Enix is starting to favor large group-based pvp instead of smaller skirmish-like pvp. Reintroduce 8v8 to feast to make up for this, maybe even make it the official means of feast otherwise 4v4 will feel like a bigger afterthought than it already is.
God yes please, I still don't understand why they took it out when it was by far their most popular small-scale PVP mode. Even if you argue that it didn't help prepare people for Ranked they could have just added an 8v8 practice /and/ separate ranked mode.
I dont even know why they removed 8v8 to begin with..

Basically because 8v8 is gone, I can't play anymore in the morning whatsoever. Unfortunately, I go to bed early and I can only play from like 5:30am - 12:50am. IE: I went from 15 - 25 matches a day to 3 or 4. This is the worst change of all in the entire patch, I hope people really make a huge deal about this because I enjoy pvp a lot and basically... more or less... I can't play anymore. Especially since I am on the crystal data server, which seems to have hardly any people at all... (SE why not merge all NA data centers into one). I am really sad and so bored because of this change. I don't see why it was necessary nor does it really make any logical sense to me. All I can do is complain and hope SE will listen (lol sureeee). Oh well... my interest in this game is waning everyday, if something isn't done by next patch or two about it, I might be gone. WTG SE on winning more customers.
