Dancer Redesign 2.0 Shadowbringers Edition
First on, I have to say, the Dancer per se isn't a class, unlike Summoner, Monk or Ninja, where I'd like to change too much, but in this thread I want just to show more what kind of tweaks here n there I'd like to see getting done with the Dancer Job.
In my honest opion is this class by it's current design too shallow, it offers ne real depth it it's gameplay and the "support", that it provides is absolutely mediocre to lackluster based on what I personally would expect from a Dancer as a kind of Backline .DPS Supporter
The Basics with the Combo Skills are simple and ok, but here could be again Skill Slots saved by using Combo Chain Mechanic, to unify a skill chain that binds currently 3 skill slots, to just 1 slot, so that there is space for two more interesting useful skills to give the Dancde more depth.
How this should look like with the changes I'd to, will you see in the Skill List.
PS oh and please, could you change this dumb looking jumping combatstance idle animation to something better looking please, that makes more sense and does look more like something that REALLY does look like a basic combat dance step, like for example being inspiered by Capoeira maybe? This permanent hopping up in down fits more to a Kickboxer, than it does to a Dancer ;)
