Materia Melding/stats?

I dont know why. but maybe i'm typing in the wrong thing to search for but i seriously cannot find what i should watch out for in terms of caps for Critical determination etc.

this is my first time actually gearing myself for content rather than my raid leader screaming at me "DO THIS!" lol.

so like numbers wise what should i be looking at like 2.5k critical-3k? determination 2.5k? im kinda lost. i was told there's diminishing returns and such but was not told anything further.

Scholar is my jam if that helps.
