Naming conventions on the 1st?

i'm curious about them.

Hyur -> Humes
Miqo'te -> Mystel
Elezen -> Elves
Roegadyn -> Galdjent
Au Ra -> Drahn
Lalafell -> Dwarves
Hrothgar -> Ronso
Viera -> Viis

I think they mean how names are decided for each individual in a race, not 'what are the races called on the first'.

Yeah, me too.
But we might be able to use what Losara posted aswell.
Looking at how "classic" some of the races are called. Like Humes (humans), Dwarves, Elves. Perhaps the naming conventions are more traditional to classic RPG aswell.
Well, I am saying this not remembering any names ingame to know if what I just said could work or not. ^^

Apart from what is in the Lore forums i'm not sure if SE has given us any information regarding naming conventions on the first. Would also be curious about this. The link below is for races on the source at least:

Until something more concrete is provided to us it is probably worth noting down a few names from each race and see how they differ from the source. They have provided some examples in the thread above.

Hard to say. Mystels have a pretty clear pattern, at least as far as the Sun Seeker equivalent goes. (This made easy to guess based on the Chais)

What I'M really curious about is if the same same gender population proportions exist in the first, because the Chais are a married couple. This is something that is simply not done in Miqo'te society (moon or sun) on the source due to the rarity of the males. It would imply that males are not as rare in the first.

Though we do see that the Viis in Rak'tika are still predominantly female. However the Ronso don't seem to have the same issue because we have met some with offscreen wives.

Back on topic, i'm sure that Elves and Dwarves could obey certain fantasy naming tropes, and the Humes seem to use the same basic english-like naming system.

In the first population for mystel seem to be turned around. There are MUCH more male mystel than female, especially in Kholusia. I like that. :D
But naming seems to differ than in the source, too. Plus there seems to be only a few keeper there. Only seen one till now. (So there are not only seeker obviously.)

Judging by some of the npc's all you need is a grammatical denoting word + verb. Example, Thenoise.
