I haven't crafted since Heavensward and I cannot for the life of me remember how to craft. Any help on relearning crafting? have they added any easy to get armour/tools to make catching up easier? all my crafting classes are 50-54

Some things have changed since the 3.x and 4.x sections were written.
Caimie's guides are fantastic.
I'm in a similar boat. I crafted extensively in HW when Rath's rotation was really all you needed, and did very light crafting in SB. I'd like to get back into it, but all I'm finding is points go outdated guides. I guess for the moment, all I'm really concerned with is the leveling phase. Is there any super basic rotation I can use to HQ leve stuff? I figure I'll worry about optimizing for later when I'm 80 and can...well...actually optimize.
If your gear has high/max CP from 4.x: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...9nCjoA/preview
Otherwise, do your GC turn ins for a few days to get over the 70-71 hurdle and then the document above has some nice 1 button time savers with low CP requirements.

The Crystalline Mean has a crafting and gathering quest hub with great XP that will reduce your need for leve allowances. They are broken up into five categories:
- BSM/ARM/GSM
- CRP/LTW/WVR
- ALC/CUL
- MIN/BTN
- FSH
The quests can only be done by one job per category, once. So be sure to pick the tedious job in each category to get the quests XP.
Crafting collectibles can be great also. Caimie's guides cover that also.
