Corrupt textures???
Upon launching the game I find that there are missing textures on Hyur and Miqo'te, I try look up a fix but all I find are "mods" for textures and I do not wish to modify my game... I did also find that these "textures" are in certain files in Sqpack folder, is there any way to verify these files and repatch them? or redownload just these files and not the entire game? I live in australia and my internet speed is awful (97 hours to download the entire game!)
Cheers

If you're experiencing weird textures or 'visual artifacts' then usually that is a sign your video card is in trouble, either the drivers for it are buggy/need updating, or, more than likely, it's a sign of hardware failure in that the video card itself is dying a slow, painful death. I've found Nvidia cards are particularly prone to this kind of issue in that some minor texture tearing might first occur but gradually worsens the more time passes until finally the game becomes totally unplayable due to the graphics suddenly glitching out (I've had to replace 3 video cards in the past year due to similar issues, one of them an ATI Radeon card that just suddenly gave up the ghost with no warning, and 2 Geeforce cards that suffered similar issues to yours).
Replacing the card with a new one is really the only thing that can be done if it is indeed the video card failing, although updating your video card drivers may help too, if the cause is driver related.

Good afternoon Lemage and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
When exactly did this start happening? Did anything change/update on your PC that coincides with this? Is this accompanied by any other glitches or errors?
Do you have a screenshot of the corrupted textures?
Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
