Need help with interpreting tracerout results

Hi. I ran a trace route to the JP server's IP address (124.150.157.158) using cmd to check my latency and packet loss. Results consistently contained 1 or 2 asterisks in line 10. Here are two samples of the typical result I get doing a trace route:

Should i be alarmed at those asterisks that appear on line 10? its always 1 or 2 asterisks but not all three. Does this signify packet loss of some sort? If this is a problem, how would it be remedied? Thank you.

- Platform (PC, PS4, Mac)
- the nature of the latency
- Type of connection (wired or wireless)
- Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
- Everything you have tried to resolve the issue

My original issue was high latency. After getting help from my ISP in rerouting my connection to the server, I tested to see if my latency improved by running a trace route to the game's server using cmd. As you can see from the results, my latency is now good at 50-60ms. However, i noticed that there are always 1 or 2 asterisks in line 10 of the trace route. this is consistent to multiple trace route tests. I was wondering if this signifies a new problem of packet loss, as these asterisks were not present when i ran a trace route before when i had high latency, which used a different route to the server. Those asterisks do represent packet loss. You sent 3 to each node (that's why three numbers are displayed), but one did not return on each trace route. This can sometimes be a problem but if you are not experiencing any problems in-game, then there shouldn't be anything to worry about. Are you experiencing any issues (old or new) after you rerouted?

If you want to test packet loss open command and type

ping n500 then the ip address.

It'll ping it 500 times or however many you set n to. It will then tell you how many times it succeeded, how many failed and your packet loss rate.
Will also give you a variation on latency. Fastest, slowest and average..
