Every time I tele into Kugane I'll always be reminded of what a failure I am. Four hours of jump puzzle and I can't reach the top because of that last jump. Hands and wrists are in so much pain, can't make short/long jumps anymore XD /playdead

you're not a failure. Jump control in this game is terrible and the only thing which makes it hard. the true ultimate savage.
I’ve tried that jump puzzle before and there was one jump I just couldn’t make. I tend to think it takes time and patience to reach the top, and a bit of practice.
It took me like 8 hours to do this the first time, and a friend got it in like 30 minutes. Took 2 for the 2nd one with the other jump involved... I still thought it was entertaining, if frustrating, if that makes sense.
I'm still not sure why they decided to design and leave it the way it is. I can get around the questionable jump controls, but what really makes this puzzle "hard" are all of the absurd invisible hitboxes. Platforming should be visually intuitive. If I'm having to intentionally land in mid air five feet away from where the platform visibly ends because aiming directly at the platform has me bounce off of an invisible wall (even if there should be space to fit my character), you've screwed up as a programmer.
People have done it before, there is no excuse you can't. Keep practicing.
Here is how to do it...
Step 1
Get married IG
Step 2
Climb
Step 3
Have partner use Wedding ring to teleport to you.
Step 4
Wait till Wedding ring is up again.
Step 5
Climb more
Step 6
Go to step 3 till unless at top.
IF you fall you teleport to your partner.
Just keep practicing until you get the Eternal Bonding ceremony rings. I kept practicing until I could safely and mostly get to the top of the tower where the wrap around porch part is, but every attempt that I had made to get towards the actual top of the tower is where I either positioned the camera wrong or I would over jump at the second to last beam.
Once I married my fiance in-game and we had the rings, I used his dead corpse of a character at like...2am, while he was sleeping (he tends to leave his computer and game running almost constantly) and teleported his body up to the wrap around porch as a bit of a "save" point. This way, if I fell off to my doom and landed at the very bottom or halfway on the tower again, I could just use the rings to get back towards where I started from initially and try again.
Keep in mind though the rings have a 30 minute cooldown, so you're going to have to occupy yourself with something else while you wait, lol.
If becomes a lot easier to get back up after you do it for the first time.
