I was just thinking the same thing, I don't want to frantically wait for the download to complate once the maintenance is over.
iirc, patch 4.1 was available to download about 2 hours before the servers came back up. I imagine it will be the same!
just have to keep your eyes peeled on the lodestone for an update post saying the game has been updated. or check other sites like reddit, etc.
They said on lodestone it'll be ready around 11:30pm pst.
i heard it'll be ready around 7:30am GMT

it's up according to ppl in my PC. I just downloaded a 1735 MB patch.
