Question regarding PS4 service

Hi,

I have 2 concerns:

1. I have a physical copy of FFXIV ARR and Havensward, Stormblood is digital, my ps4 is beginning having some issues with the eject button, so the disc come out by itself, right now it not a problem but probably in the near future it would be.
My concern is if I bought the complete digital edition on PS4, I will be able to use my current account?, since I already registered this game, not sure if it will cause a problem?

2. A friend of mine bought the physical complete edition for PS4 but he already have FFXIV ARR, will he be able to use his current account and continue playing with his character with these new copy or he will need to create a new account?

You shouldn't need the disk at all. If you remove the disk and uninstall the game on the ps4 then go to your library you will be able to re-download it thru there without the disk in the drive and won't need to have it in to play at all.
As far as your friend goes yes you can use the same acct on ps4 and pc, he will have everything except for things that are stored on local memory aka hotbar setups, hud layouts, and macros ect

For your question, Uninstall everything. Go to your library on your PS4 and download from there ARR, Heavensward, and Stormblood. This will prevent you from having to use the disk at all. No need to purchase game again.

For your friends question, Yes they will be able to log into the same account with no problem.
