Will Omega Savage be opened for farming soon?

With the free login campaign currently in effect, will omega savage weekly restriction be lifted and opened up for farming soon? The next tier raid is coming and as raiders we need to get all of our off-classes to i340 and maybe decide which job to main in the next raid. With the holiday season coming up people gonna have more time to play so why not lifting that pathetic weeks restriction already? Not to mention that this patch has been pretty tedious due to the absence of relic grinding and a lame ultimate raid tier with fake, time-gated, & artificial difficulty that few people actually care about.

More than likely, no. Sadly.

Savage tiers only tend to be unlocked once the next tier is released, unless it is the end of an expansion.
Both Final Coil and Creator Savage were unlocked towards the end of their respective expansions, but the earlier tiers of Coil/Alexander were not unlocked until the next tier went live. Given SE’s tendency to follow set formulae, it’s doubtful that this will change with Omega Savage.

Probably not until after the next set of savage is available for progression. If I'm not mistaken, that's how they usually do it(I don't run savage content, so don't really know for sure)

while progression checks might be removed, weekly loot lockout won't be removed until 4.2 (the next tier) is released.

I am eating my words: according to the Patch 4.18 Notes, Savage is unlocked for farming!
I give the devs props for this!

Deltascape has been adjusted as follows:

Two treasure coffers will now always appear. Furthermore, the weekly restriction on rewards obtained from coffers has been removed.
The weekly entrance restriction on all areas of Deltascape has been removed.
Players may now proceed directly to any area of Deltascape.

truth be told was not expecting. devs must realize need more ppl on doing stuff i guess.

Honestly, this kills my motivation to run savage more than anything.

People still don't practice the first phase of O4S, so I can't get any further in that, but now that there's no weekly demand for me to run the first three... I don't see any need to do it anymore.
