Ever since patch 4.15 my static and me have been getting lag spikes that can range from 1 to 10 seconds of nothing happening and then going back to normal. The spikes for me are infrequent and usually very short while my static reports they get lots of spikes of varying duration. They seem to occur during any kind of content, including raids, dungeons, overworld, etc.
Is anyone else getting this? Does anyone know what's going on?
Definitely having these issues. It isn't constant but I'm getting lag spikes that sound very similar to yours. It's playable (can take several minutes till' a small spike that makes an ability activate way late) but any raid progression with it would be incredibly frustrating. My entire raid group who are of the same nationality were reporting various lag spikes throughout the raid, and two of their severity were way worse than mine. I've been playing the game since 2.0 and I haven't had any latency issues this persistent before.
I also had latency issues few weeks back which I could bypass with a VPN and which fixed themselves. These latency issues haven't fixed themselves nor has a VPN helped with them. Thankfully our group is taking a break till' the next raid tier, progressing coil with this kind of connection instability would be infuriating.
My friends and I have also been having this issue recently, most notably when we're raiding in ultimate and spikes in latency can cause wipes no matter how big or small. It makes progression more frustrating than it should be :(
It's been occurring since the introduction of patch 4.15 which matches this thread, we've got members in England, Holland, Belgium and more that have been experiencing this issue, I hope it can be resolved soon!
Having lags as well. Started playing a few days ago and I really get high ping sometimes, checking via resource monitor. Damage and abilities are extremely delayed sometime.
Yes very random spikes that happens in all kinds of content for the last week or so. Happens to friends of mine to.
Same for my group + error 2002 which put an end to the raid because players can't reconnect (it's happened many times now...)
It's happening to me and my friends as well. Made O4S miserable :l

I noticed this since 4.15. Maybe every 7-10 minutes there is a lag spike, really short and annoying.

It's the same for me on Shiva. I have lags since the 4.15, in pvp or when I'm crafting. Today it was 10+ seconds of lags on dungeon
It has been already 10 days. Since the Saturday November the 18th the game get random lag spikes wich affectas almsot all people at the same time. it is tedious try to do savage when lag spikes hits in the worst moment.
Please, stop say "it is your ISP problem" every time I try to contact support. IT IS NOT my ISP. IT IS YOUR SEVER AND/OR YOUR ISP, SquareEnix.
