Low populated server xp boost?

Okay so not sure if I'm posting in the right section or whatnot but I transferred from Behemoth to Adamantoise believing that I would gain the low population server xp boost. Is that not a thing since its a transfer?

The xp boost, aka "Road to 60" buff is only available for new characters created on a new or preferred world.
