[dev1033] Changes to class names --> Title Bonus/Penalty?

Under the current FFXIV classes, what does changing class names do? There are no stat/skill/weapon affinity bonuses.

Does SE mean by changing class names they'll add something like Titles and stat bonuses from it?

EX.

Upon finishing gladiator quests the NPC awards "Titles" and you can equip "Titles" in the trait.

Titles gladiator can earn would be like "Paladin", "Warrior", "Dark Knight"

Equipping Paladin Title: +Def, +HP, +Mana, -ATK. +10% bonus from heavy armor, shield, sword. +enimity from increasing enimty skills, -stamina usage from provoke, taunt.

Equipping Dark Knight: -Def, +ATK, +Mana, +Dex. +10% bonus from heavy armor, 2hand weapons. +10% damage bonus of "absorb/siphon" skills

Along that line? though if it was like this... it could be really useful :)

Well you know when you hit r36 in any class that you can get affinity skill like "Seasoned Veteran" for PUG or "Pikemanship" for lancers that increase your skill affinity. Instead of just raising skill affinity SE could name it "Paladin" and give stat bonus, stat penalty, weapon bonus, weapon penalty, skill bonus, skill penalty by equipping on your trait bar. Also by equipping title it would show it on top of your name and diplay it like "Paladin Ouka Ranbu" or something.

I like your ideas ^_^ very similar to some I've posted here and on eorzeapedia.
